Quick! The rabbits are escaping!

Had a hand-on, sweaty and sweary cage fixing sesh this arvo, when Miss Pinky Pinkness and Miss Rosie Pinkness escaped - bloody rabbits! xx
Good morning my lovelies, how are you all?

It's a beautiful morning here, the sky is just turning slightly pale pink, doesn't that mean it's going to rain later?

Today I'm buying fun stuff for a party! The bijou girl has her birthday soon so I'm making the most of Devizes' humble little market day. There'll be heaps of veg and there's a great olive stall, and cheap cheese stall run by the jolliest cheese lady you could ever hope to meet. Maybe the rainbow cardi man will be there this week too... I have to get wrapping paper - wrapping gifts can be a very creative affair if you turn your imagination on, mine's feeling a bit groggy but maybe brekkie'll set me right...

My little angel (she's still asleep) has ordered a bunny cake from Mum's cake decorating service so I'll post a photo on Tuesday and I'll have pics of cute cupcakes to show you on Monday.

I hope the sun shines on all doingg washing today, and rain falls on those who did gardening yesterday xx

Welcome To My Creative Life

Hello my lovelies! Welcome to my creative life, or to those of you I see, msg, fone, or email regularly, welcome back!

It's new moon time, time to try something new or start a new project, so here I am starting a new blog. What would you like to begin?

I believe in my heart that all of us have the power to live the whole of our lives creatively, (to those who doubt - just look at the wonderful meal you created, the beautiful home you have made) I'm hoping to inspire a little creativity with this blog, and maybe even a smidgen of inspiration, who knows?

Let me show you around...

I live in beautiful, rural Devizes with my nearly four-year-old bijou girl and two rabbits, Miss Pinky Pinkness and Miss Rosie Pinkness, who have recently become girls, and a great host of visitors. I have this cute little house which is filling up with paintings by the bijou girl and I, and many things handmade. (She, by the way, would like to be a swimming art teacher when she grows up) We are lucky to have a garden, and a great view over a valley checkered with fields.

My passion is art and one of my dreams is to say I'm an artist with a capital A one day soon (This year'd be nice). I don't think I ever met a creative pursuit I didn't like, tho painting and drawing are my favourites. I love to bake, it's a rare occasion when a week goes by without home-made cake or biccies in the cupboard, I love to knit and sew, to garden and grow, to write, make jam, make up stories and characters on the spot and act out silly games with little ones. I am grateful every day for the gift of loving life, and the gift of being creative.

I'll leave you for now, with the wish that you have as beautiful a day as we have here in sunny, Autumnal Wilts, but I'll be back soon, love and hugs xx faerie xx
